The 8-year-old daughter of the late Steve Irwin, who will star in the 26-part Discovery Kids show Bindi, the Jungle Girl this year, will speak at the National Press Club in Washington and appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Late Show with David Letterman, Reuters reports.
"She'll be welcomed with open arms, and rightly so," Discovery senior vice president Annie Howell told reporters in Australia on Monday. "She's a very special child."
Bindi, with her mother Terri and her Crocmen backup dancers, will also join The Wiggles for concerts in Los Angeles and New York. She has already been performing her stage show at the Irwin family's Australia Zoo Crocoseum in Queensland.
As part of an Australian government promotion, Bindi is also expected at a gala dinner along with Russell Crowe and Naomi Watts.
No footage from that tragic day will be included, Irwin's manager, John Stainton, said this weekend.
