The Wrap reports that Discovery CFO Andrew Warren revealed details of the company's loss in a conference call on Wednesday morning.
Warren blamed "higher restricting and other charges this year of $19 million, primarily due to content impairment charges of canceling TLC's 19 Kids and Counting.
The family were said to be heartbroken when the news broke of the show's cancellation last month.
The ending of the hit show came two months after a 2006 police report surfaced revealing that Josh Duggar had been accused at age 14 of molesting five underage girls – including two of his sisters, Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald. He apologized and said he had "acted inexcusably" after the report became public.
