Two people were shot outside a hip-hop concert at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey, late Monday, police say.

Authorities are still hunting for the suspect who opened fire in the crowded parking lot outside the show, which featured rappers J. Cole and Big Sean, the Asbury Park Press reports.

The two victims were airlifted to the Jersey Shore University Medical Center, where they are in critical but stable condition.

Witnesses said that the gunfire broke out at around 11 p.m. after a fight broke out in the parking lot, according to CBS News.

Dogs continued to search the nearby woods Tuesday morning, but there was no sign of the gunman.

J. Cole and Big Sean are set to take the stage at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Tuesday evening.
