Less than a week since its release, 25 has sold at least 2.8 million albums through day five in the U.S., according to Nielsen Music, including 1.45 million digital albums.
And the debut week sales isn't even over! The 27-year-old singer's 11-track project is already the best-selling album of 2015.
In addition, 25 has also broken the sales record in Canada selling 261,000 albums in just over four days.
Say Bye, Bye, Bye and Hello to a new record holder. On Tuesday, Billboard reported that Adele's third studio album sold 2.433 million copies, surpassing the previous single-week album sales record held by *NSYNC.
Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass and Chris Kirkpatrick sold 2.416 million copies of No Strings Attached in March 2000.
Adele already holds a sales record title in the States. 21 is the only album in history to be the top-selling album for two years.

The mother of one also beat Taylor Swift's Bad Blood for most YouTube views as her smash hit Hello has garnered over 490 million views thus far.
For those few who have yet to purchase 25, the album is now streaming on Pandora. Fans in the U.K. and European Union will get to hear the tunes live though – on Thursday morning, Adele announced her tour.
"Hello, it's me. Adele ... God, I can't even say that anymore," she joked. "I have been bluffing this whole time, and I am so relieved to tell you that I am, of course, coming on tour, and I can't wait to see you all very, very soon."
