Alex Trebek doesn't just win the prize for being able to pronounce foreign words better than any politician can – the Jeopardy host is now a Guinness World Record holder.

The 73-year-old was awarded a certificate from Guinness on Friday for the "most game show episodes hosted by the same presenter" – 6,829.

Trebek has hosted the show since 1984 and has asked more than 416,000 questions, but he revealed in a video commemorating his achievement that he's not ready to retire just yet.

"I want to continue for a few more years," he said, admitting that his achievement "is the kind of record that can be replaced." (He's talking to you, Pat Sajak.)

"The good news is as long as I keep hosting the program, I stay ahead of whoever's in second place and that makes me feel good," Trebek added.

The Canadian-born star, who got his start as a newsman, revealed that he's going to hang the certificate commemorating his world record on the stairway leading to his bedroom so that he will see it every day.
