The 18-year-old actress took to Twitter to announce her relationship status with a Kim Kardashian throwback clip. The GIF shows Kim K saying, "I'm like dropping hints that I'm single" and was paired with the caption "When you're surprised that people just haven't gotten it yet." She then posted a screenshot of the tweet on Instagram with the caption, "Hi there press people!!!!!!"
Winter has had an on-again, off-again relationship with Laurent Claude Gaudette since the two starting dating in late 2013. They had a brief split in 2015, but these posts seem to confirm that the pair is no longer together.
Back in December, the Modern Family star posted a similar meme announcing her single status with some help from Beyoncé's hit song "Single Ladies."

But in February, she spoke about reuniting with her former beau.
"We love each other, so we are obviously meant to be together," she said, adding that "time" has helped to strengthen their relationship.
It appears, however, that their time has run out. This news comes days after she was slammed by critics for her graduation outfit choice.
"Dear sorry body-shamers, I looked HOT in that dress," the newly-single Winter tweeted on Wednesday. "And if you hate it, don't buy it. But please get a hobby. XOXO Ariel #EmbraceYourBody."
