Well, not quite – but she is laying down some tracks! Lively took to Instagram on Sunday to share a picture of herself behind the microphone while recording music for her upcoming film All I See Is You.
"I knew show choir would pay off. Man, did I have fun in the recording studio with @BABYFACE @2dux2 and @hollymarilynsolem for @alliseeisyoumovie," she captioned the photo. "Next stop, find some backup dancers QUICK. (Don't worry. I still can't sing.)"
And while Lively, 28, might be new to signing, she's certainly in good hands. As Lively belted out some tunes, music icon and producer Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds and All I See Is You director Marc Forster stood behind the glass, along with actress Holly Marilyn Solem.
Solem, who wrote and performed the end-credits song for Amazon's Hand of God pilot, also shared a photo of herself with Lively and Babyface from their day in the studio.
"In the studio today with @blakelively and #babyface. Nbd," she wrote.
In the film, Lively plays a blind woman who regains her sight only to discover disturbing details about her life and her relationship with her husband.
All I See Is You hits theaters later this year.
