Are you ready for some football? Blake Shelton is!

On Wednesday, the country singer stopped by The Tonight Show to talk about his new album Bringing Back the Sunshine and play one of host Jimmy Fallon's signature goofy games.

To celebrate the beginning of the NFL season, Shelton and Fallon indulged in a round of "Random Object Football Toss." Instead of passing the pigskin, the "players" tried to throw mannequin heads, sub sandwiches, eight-layer dip and other random football replacements into a target.

After a few false starts, Mr. Miranda Lambert had his Hail Mary moment thanks to a beer pitcher full of peanuts.

Perhaps there is a future for Shelton in the studio and on the field.

Watch Fallon and Shelton's entire game below.
