Like apple pie and ice cream or beer and pretzels, country music and fast cars just go together.

Ask Brantley Gilbert, who played the Brickfest Music Festival at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday.

"I am a huge NASCAR fan and so are my fans," Gilbert, 29, tells PEOPLE Country. "The fact that I can come out here and perform for them and then head inside and watch the race is a very cool thing."

Gilbert co-headlined Super Weekend at the Brickyard along with The Band Perry and Justin Moore – whose sets were rained out Saturday night – and treated PEOPLE Country to an exclusive look at their weekend in Indy.

"NASCAR is a sport truly for the hard working people of America," Moore, 30, tells PEOPLE. "The exact same people who I get to play for out on tour night after night."

Before the official drivers' meeting on Saturday, the "Lettin' The Night Roll" singer chats with NASCAR driver Kyle Larson, whose No. 42 car was emblazoned with "Nashville Outlaws" during Saturday's Nationwide race.

The Band Perry's performance may have been rained out but they didn't let a little water ruin the weekend. "Stupid storm. We're so bummed that our show in Indianapolis tonight got canceled. Hope to be back soon," The Band Perry Tweeted Saturday.

Hollywood and Nashville collided at the victory podium. Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt chatted with Drake White, who performed the National Anthem before Sunday's race.

He was rained out the night before, but Moore still hit the stage alongside Gilbert on Sunday to sing "Small Town Throwdown."
