The pop princess, 33, twisted her ankle on stage while performing her 1999 jam "(You Drive Me) Crazy" during Piece of Me her residency at Planet Hollywood.
The Femme Fatale artist, rocking a jeweled leotard, tights and heels, can be seen in a video posted to YouTube dancing along to the intricate choreography in line with her back up crew when she takes a (quite bouncy) wrong step.
Spears appears to take a painful wobble down to the stage, after which she doesn't stand back up before the clip ends. (You can spot her slip around 1:47.)
And her loyal followers quickly Tweeted their concerns – and adoration – for Spears, who reportedly got back up and finished performing after briefly assessing her injury. Late Thursday, her rep confirmed that the singer's weekend shows have been canceled and will be rescheduled.
Spears' "doctor has advised her not to perform Friday and Saturday evening so that she may heal," the statement reads.
Everyone please send good vibes @britneyspears way tonight. She fell and hurt her foot performing #PieceOfMe Get well soon Brit!

But because it's Britney, b----, she's doing okay, post-fall.
"Thank you for all of the sweet wishes! Had a little scare on stage tonight with my ankle but I'm ok!" the "Womanizer" songstress Tweeted after Wednesday's show.
