Friends, fans and loved ones spoke out on Monday about Caitlyn Jenner's unveiling on the cover of Vanity Fair.

And on Monday afternoon, President Barack Obama chimed in about the woman formerly known as Bruce Jenner.

"It takes courage to share your story," the president Tweeted, sharing Caitlyn's first Tweet from earlier in the day.

Obama then followed up with a Tweet asking people to share their own stories in the fight for LGBT rights.

Caitlyn Jenner made her debut on the magazine cover on Monday, wearing her hair in loose curls and posing in a white bustier corset.
