In a brand-new promo from the premiere episode of her reality show I Am Cait released on E! News, Jenner films herself in bed with no makeup on in the wee hours of the morning as she explains what's keeping her up so late: her responsibility toward the transgender community.
"It's like, 4:32 in the morning – and I can't sleep," starts Jenner, as she pushes her hair out of her face.
"I feel bad that these [people] – especially young people – are going through such a difficult time in their life," says Jenner, who mentors transgender youth in another clip from the series. "We don't want people dying over this. We don't want people murdered over this stuff."

The reality star, 65, goes on to explain her desire to be a good role model and help the transgender community – as well as the fears that come with that responsibility.
"What a responsibility I have towards this community," she says to the camera. "Am I going to do everything right? Am I going to say the right things? Do I project the right image? My mind's just spinning with thoughts. I just hope I get it right. I hope I get it right."
Jenner – who recently received the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPYs – is already considered a role model by some, including trans teen Jazz Jennings, who told PEOPLE that Jenner is "so brave and courageous" and is "making a huge difference."
Laverne Cox has also been outspoken about her admiration for Jenner, posting pictures of the two together and telling James Corden on a recent episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden that she thinks the reality star is handling her transition "very eloquently and beautifully and publicly."
I Am Cait premieres Sunday at 8 p.m. on E!
