The Secret to Cassadee Pope's on-the-Road Workouts: FaceTime with Her Trainer

Let's face it, being on tour, stuck on a bus for hours, and hopping from city to city every 24 hours isn't exactly conducive to a healthy lifestyle.

But that's not stopping Cassadee Pope, who's joined Chris Young for a run of sold-out concert dates, from staying fit.

The singer packs a secret weapon in her suitcase when she's on the road – her trainer, virtually.

"I do FaceTime training with my trainer," The Voice alum, 26, tells PEOPLE on a special chartered plane ride while celebrating Southwest Airlines' 30 Years in Music City, Live at 35.





"I try to find the nearest gym and I run for half an hour. I run two miles and then I do sprints and then I do FaceTime," she said.

But Pope admits there's more to staying fit on the road than just exercise. She also sticks to a strict breakfast. "Every morning I have a parfait. It's 0 percent nonfat Greek yogurt, walnuts, raspberries and agave."

But don't worry, the singer has her vices, "I love pasta! Italian food - it's my jam!"
