There is one gift Channing Tatum's daughter, Everly, should already accept she will never, ever receive from her doting dad: a porcelain doll.

Why?

It turns out her hunky father is terrified of them.

"I just think they're freaky!" Tatum, 34, exclaimed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday. "I just think they're really super freaky. They have, like, real eyes and they look real."

"I just imagine when I walk by them their heads turn with you the whole time," he added, citing a memorable (to him) Friday the 13th episode featuring a possessed porcelain doll.

DeGeneres did not take Tatum's admission lightly. Instead, like any self-respecting talk show host, she totally taunted him about it.

The Emmy winner promptly grabbed two porcelain dolls and waved them at the Magic Mike star, who slunk back in his seat in horror.

"Why did someone make that?" Tatum demanded to know, then flatly refused to hold either doll DeGeneres thrust in his direction.

Undeterred – and possibly hoping to cure Tatum of his phobia – she then pushed one of the dolls into his face as Tatum momentarily lost his composure.

Unfortunately, it seems DeGeneres did little to ease the actor – whom we can safely assume will not be seeing this film when it hits theaters next month.

"That was great," he said sarcastically once DeGeneres finally retreated. "I enjoyed it so much."
