The Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover star took the mound at an L.A. Dodgers game Tuesday night and threw one of the better celebrity first pitches in recent memory.
Her secret? Probably the large number of margaritas she downed before the game.

Wearing a #40 jersey with the name "Nugz" on the back – a reference, she said, to her favorite drunk food, a 40-pack of Chicken McNuggets – Teigen threw a slow sweeping curve that made it all the way to home plate. Afterward, she celebrated by hugging catcher Drew Butera, then rolling around on the ground in jubilation.
Though she was likely the most overjoyed by the experience, Teigen's not the first model to take the pitcher's mound in a major league game. Revisit her colleague's pitches below.
Teigen's fellow Swimsuit Issue alum is only 813 games shy of breaking Cy Young's record for most career starts; two years before this San Francisco Giants game, Miller threw out the first pitch at a Chicago Cubs game as well.

When she's not allegedly inspiring celebrity scuffles in Ibiza, Miranda Kerr travels the globe as a pitch-throwing superstar. In 2013, the Victoria's Secret Angel threw out the first pitch at the KBO Championship game (Korean baseball's equivalent of the World Series), her ball landing juuuust outside the plate.

Skokie's own Erin Heatherton threw out the first pitch for her hometown Chicago Cubs in May 2011. The video of the occasion cuts off home plate, but judging from Heatherton's reaction, her three-seam cutter landed perfectly in the strike zone.
