Four days, 11 stages, 424 acts, more than 60,000 fans – the sheer volume of activities and people at the CMA Music Festival in Nashville last weekend was truly mind-blowing. We were there, and from the pressroom and LP Field to the riverfront, we were determined to see CMA Fest from a brand new angle.

You see, we love looking at the fabulous concert photographs that come out of the festival, but this year, we decided to do something new, so we grabbed a GoPro camera and a UKPro telescoping camera pole and went off on an adventure. Sure, we were those people holding a funny-looking stick in the air during shows, but we think the awkward stares we got were worth it. Check out our results below:

Thursday, June 5: Dierks Bentley
There are 11 official stages at CMA Fest and countless unofficial venues. The HGTV Lodge was one of our favorite places to hang out (and not only because there was air conditioning). Inside the barn – yes, they actually built a barn – was an intimate space for acoustic sessions, fan meet and greets and Q&A sessions. Little Big Town, Rascal Flatts, Justin Moore and Brett Eldredge were just a few of the acts that stopped by throughout the festival. We got to enjoy Dierks Bentley's set from a bird's-eye view.

Friday, June 6: Kristian Bush
The Riverfront stage is set up on a barge on Nashville's Cumberland River and hosts the largest crowds of the festival (except for the LP Field nightly concerts). Kristian Bush (formerly of the award-winning duo Sugarland) struck out on his own this year and the crowd was packed in for his set.

Friday, June 6: The Band Perry
Do you ever wonder what goes on in the pressroom – or what it's like to have your picture taken by dozens of photographers? The Band Perry stopped by to chat and take photos before hitting the stage at LP Field.

Saturday, June 7: Hatch Show Print
Hatch Show Print in Nashville is where artists have been going for more than 100 years to have their concerts advertised using a traditional letterpress. We never come to Nashville without stopping by to see what new posters they've made.

Saturday, June 7: LP Field
Wikipedia says 68,798 people can fit in LP Field – we wanted to see what it looked like before all the fans arrived.

Curious about what it's like to stand on stage and see a huge crowd before you? Now you do, courtesy of Tyler Farr at the Riverfront stage!

Sunday, June 8: Zac Brown Band
Zac Brown Band was the second-to-last set at LP Field – and words can't describe the audience's excitement when Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora joined them on stage to sing "Dead or Alive."
