The sweet and always perfectly tan personal trainer, 28, is joining the cast of Bachelor in Paradise, PEOPLE exclusively confirms.
On Monday's episode, Sattler was friend-zoned by Andi Dorfman after receiving the last one-on-one date from the assistant district attorney.
Though clearly emotional, he remained gracious in his exit. "Cody was truly the sweetest, most grateful guy in the house," Dorfman blogged after his elimination.
Sattler sported a signature style that included a Mohawk and a plethora of V-neck and muscle tees on the show and was well-liked by his fellow contestants (who referred to him as a "puppy" on Monday's episode).
And though he was mostly good-natured on the show, he did prove he had some fire – which may come in handy on Paradise – when he got prickly with a more "confident" Nick.
Sattler will see at least one friendly face when he stars filming the new show in Mexico – joining him on Bachelor in Paradise is his fellow Dorfman castoff Marquel Martin and former Bachelor contestant Michelle Money, who competed for Brad Womack's heart in 2011.
Bachelor in Paradise premieres Aug. 4 on ABC.
