They're just a few of the artists drenching themselves in ice water as part of the Ice Bucket Challenge movement currently sweeping social media. Why are they doing this? To raise money and awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
The campaign, which actually started months ago as a fundraiser for various charities, has become a phenomenon around the world in the last 10 days, since friends and family of former Boston College baseball player and ALS patient Pete Frates used it to raise awareness about the disease.
The idea is for participants to douse themselves in ice water, and challenge others to do the same within 24 hours. If they don't, they must donate to the charity of their choosing.
Bentley, who was challenged by fellow singer Chase Rice, went all in – shirtless! – outside of Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Sunday. "If you watch Chase Rice's video, there's only about half the water and ice that's in this bucket," says Bentley, before adding, "I really don't like Chase right now."
While McGraw, who was called out by Urban, enlisted the help of his daughters in the dousing.
