David Beckham and Alfredo Alvarez
has been spending quite a bit of time in Miami since announcing plans to launch
an MLS team based in the city.
Although recent stadium plans have presented a challenge
(and some controversy), that hasn't stopped the soccer star, 39, from mixing business with pleasure.
On Wednesday night, Beckham was spotted enjoying dinner at Miami hotspot Seasalt and Pepper with good friend David Gardner as well as American Idol
creator – and Beckham business partner – Simon Fuller.
The trio enjoyed some of Chef Alfredo Alvarez's signature dishes, such as branzino deboned at the table, octopus prepared la plancha, kumamoto oysters and fresh albacore white tuna salad, which Beckham particularly loved.
While the politics may be a challenge, the popularity factor is not – Miami seems more than poised to accept Beckham and company, judging by the reaction he received during his evening out.
Good-naturedly posing for an astounding amount of pictures with fans in and outside the restaurant, Beckham said "yes" to all who asked.
