Political blogger Matt Drudge has alleged in a series of tweets to his 321,000 followers that Hillary Clinton wears a wig – a claim her hairstylist is calling "ridiculous."

"You guys are so funny," Santa Nikkels, owner of Santa's Hair Salon in Chappaqua, New York, where Clinton lives, tells PEOPLE.

"She has the most amazing hair in the world."

Drudge sent a series of five tweets on his account @Drudge Wednesday morning, each with a different photo zoomed in on Clinton's hair, accompanied by captions.

Also on Wednesday, Drudge led his popular blog, The Drudge Report, with the headline: "Wigged Out: Hillary Gives Up Hair Battle."

When Nikkels was asked directly, "Does Clinton wear a wig?" the stylist gave a quick reply: "Not at all."

"You know politics are very dirty and I don't want to get involved," she says. "No matter what, she is going to be the president, that is what I am telling you."

Hillary Clinton Opens Up to PEOPLE About Becoming a Grandmother

Clinton herself testified to her hair's authenticity in August, after her presidential rival Donald Trump invited an audience member on stage to prove his 'do was the real deal.

"A lot of people have said a lot of things about my hair over the years, so I do kind of know what Donald is going through," Clinton said at a meeting of Democratic leaders.

She added, "If anyone wonders if mine is real, here's the answer: The hair is real. The color isn't."

SNL's Cecily Strong could have called this latest attack on Clinton's hair.

At the White House Correspondents' Dinner in April, the comedian asked reporters to raise their right hands and make the following election-season pledge: "I solemnly swear not to talk about Hillary's appearance because that is not journalism."

They can't say they didn't get the memo.
