Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump revealed Monday that he isn't against putting former Alaska governor Sarah Palin in an official role in his administration.

"I'd love that," he said in an interview on The Palin Update on Mama Grizzly Radio. "She really is somebody that knows what's happening, and she's a special person, she's really a special person, and I think people know that. And she's got a following that's unbelievable."

Trump described the former vice presidential candidate as having a "kind of strength" that you don't see much of anymore, comparing her to other GOP candidates whom he described as "weak" and "ineffective."

The businessman has courted controversy since announcing his candidacy in June. His comments on immigration and former Republican presidential candidate John McCain have made headlines.

But there's at least one person who's in favor of Trump's 2016 presidential run. Tina Fey, who has portrayed Palin on Saturday Night Live, told reporters on Tuesday that it's "great for comedy." And she knows just who should play the Apprentice star when SNL returns from hiatus: Darrell Hammond.
