Let make one thing (more) clear, Donald Trump does not care about his critics.

In an upcoming interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulous, the GOP's presumptive nominee speaks candidly about garnering the support of his Republican peers, but also says that he understands why some of them, namely Jeb Bush, won't be backing him in November.

"I understand Jeb Bush. I was rough with Jeb Bush," Trump said in the one-on-one. "And I think if I was Jeb Bush I wouldn't vote for me either, if you wanna know the truth."

But the former Republican presidential hopeful isn't the only one Trump names in his interview. The real estate mogul also responded to Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, who recently told CNN that he while he "hope[s] to support [the] nominee", he is "just not ready to do that at this point."

"I really think I earned the support from the people. You know, we've gotten more votes than anybody in this position that's ever run for the office," Trump added. "This is what the people want."

While Trump certainly has more than a few people in opposition to his candidacy, he's also received the support of many members of his party – most recently, former Kansas Senator Bob Dole, who announced his endorsement on Friday, echoing much of what Trump tells Stephanopolous about having the support of the American people.

"The voters of our country have turned out in record numbers to support Mr. Trump," Dole said. "It is important that their votes be honored and it is time that we support the party's presumptive nominee."
