The actor took to Instagram on Thursday, reminiscing on his college football glory at the University of Miami.
"#TBT 19yrs old. 275lbs. Hardest worker in the room, porn 'stache and a high class daily diet of Kentucky Fried Chiecken and sweet tea. #TheU #NationalChamps," Johnson, 43, captioned the photo.
In the pic, a young Johnson, who played defensive tackle, gives a half smile as he stands in the orange, university uniform – and, really, who knew a diet of fried chicken and sweet tea could produce that physique?!
Johnson and the team took home the national championship in 1991, four years before he graduated in 1995.
Despite winning a championship, Johnson's football career ended the same year he graduated, after a short stint in the Canadian Football League.
While the former WWE star recently revealed in his Oprah's Master Class that he suffered from depression after being let go, he said his decision to follow his family's footsteps and become a professional wrestler helped get his life back on track.
Although he's segued into acting, Johnson announced in December that he was making a return to wrestling and is planning to participate in WrestleMania, to be held in Dallas, Texas, this spring.
