Kindergarten teachers of 2021 may experience a stampede if they randomly summon Emma, Noah, Liam or Olivia.

Those were the four most popular baby names in the U.S. during 2015, according to the Social Security Administration

Noah was ranked first among boys for the third consecutive year. This is the second year Emma was the top girl's name, after also taking first place in 2008, according to MarketWatch.

After Noah and Liam, top male names were Mason, Jacob and William.

For girls, Emma was followed by Olivia and then Sophia. Ava was the fourth most popular girl's name, followed by Isabella, the two of which switched spots from last year's list.

One formerly popular name, Isis, has now dropped completely off the list of the top 1,000 baby names. Isis is the name of a popular Egyptian god bot now many people know it as the acronym used to refer to the prolific terrorist group.

"It's actually quite rare for a name to be eliminated by issues in the news," Laura Wattenberg, baby name expert and founder of BabyNameWizard.com, told the Los Angeles Times.

Even Adolph – as in Hitler – was still ranked 555th in the U.S. when World War II ended, the L.A. Times reported.

Other interesting points about the list included:

• Hillary, Barack and Bernie may be names in the news, but they didn't make the top 1,000. Donald came in at number 444, dropping from 418 in 2014.
• The girl's name Alaia surged to 664 from 2,676 and Adaline jumped from a lowly 1,393 to 364.
• Riaan made the cut for the boy's list at number 926, making a major leap from the previous year's 2,286.

No one knows for sure what caused the jumps, of course, but many guess the movie ITALIC starring Blake Lively bumped the girl's name ahead. And popular Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh has a son named Riaan, possibly explaining that name's newfound popularity, reported the L.A. Times.
