Adoption may be in Teen Mom OG star Farrah Abraham's future.

"We're open to adopting someone who's not just – a child that can not just only be a newborn. But also a child that is maybe 3 or older," she says.

"There's a lot of, you know, orphans that are so adorable. So, I mean, it just breaks my heart when I see things like that because I grew up around adoptive families and I've always wanted to help. So it's just a time and a place and hopefully soon I will be ready."

Abraham says that her 7-year-old daughter Sophia is ready for a new edition to the family, and she hopes to adopt a girl within two years.

The 24-year-old adds that, in the future, she will discuss her racy past with her daughter like a "friend."

"I want to keep it real with her," the reality star says. "Like, a friend. Like, if you wanted to talk and you asked me in-depth details, I would be more than open, you know.

"I don't want other women to make the same choices that I've made if it conflicts with their dreams or their goals."
