Trunfio was surrounded by a bridal party that included fellow Australian models Jessica Gomes and Gemma Ward – Gomes carried Zion down the aisle while Ward's 2-year-old daughter, Naia, was the flower girl – along with her sister Louise. The guitarist's groomsmen included his drummer, Johnny Radelat, and guitarist Eric Zapata. His manager, Scooter Weintraub officiated. After, guests partied at the hotel while Citizen Cope and Alice Smith performed.
The bride, 30, wore a Steven Khalil dress before changing into a Yolan Cris creation for the reception, while her bridesmaids wore Reformation and flower crowns. Her shoes were Sophia Webster. Clark, 32, wore a John Varvatos suit, while son Zion was outfitted in a custom design.
"This was my favorite part of the day," Nicole told Brides, which has more exclusive photos of the ceremony, of the exchange of vows. "I loved reading my vows and hearing Gary read his."
Other notable guests at the ceremony included supermodel Alyssa Miller, supermodel sisters Jessica and Ashley Hart, and musician Leon Bridges. Powerhouse stylist sisters Chloe and Marie-Lou Bartoli, who have worked with the likes of Selena Gomez and Nicole Richie, were also present.
Trunfio shared posts on social media throughout weekend as friends and family arrived for Clark's Saturday afternoon set at the fest and the celebration. She captioned one photo of the two stars kissing with, "4 years ago we fell in love here @garyclarkjr #coachella #vibes #one love." Another post, with Gomes said, "Coachella bound to see my boo @garyclarkjr #wedding #week has BEGUN,” before using the couple's wedding hashtag #gcjandnicolewedding.
The Texas-born guitarist proposed during the second half of 2014. Trunfio shared a sweet snap shortly after on her Instagram announcing their pregnancy as well as their engagement.
"We have been enjoying this quietly and keeping to ourselves," she wrote, "but as you can imagine such beauty needs an announcement. Gary and I are happily engaged and expecting our first child, we cannot wait to welcome a new little being into the world. Thank you to all our friends and family for all the love and support @garyclarkjr #babyclark"
For his part, Clark posted the same picture, but captioned it, "The most beautiful thing I have ever seen. So excited about what is to come with you my love @nictrunfio," also hashtagging the photo with #babyclark.
(Don't worry! Just a few uploads later, followers got a peek at her pear-shaped sparkler – and it didn't disappoint!)
Following Zion’s birth in January 2015, Trunfio launched her #NormalizeBreastfeeding campaign, an initiative to help make breastfeeding in public more acceptable. She posed for a series of covers for Elle Australia with her son, and appeared on a variety of talk shows to discuss taboos surrounding the topic.
The couple currently reside in Austin, Texas. Last fall Clark released his sophomore album, The Story of Sonny Boy Slim. He will play Coachella again this Saturday.
