A wounded warrior had two ex-Presidents and two former First Ladies as wingmen when he asked his girlfriend to marry him – no pressure!
Retired Army Spc. Tyler Jeffries, from Florida, proposed to Lauren Lilly on Monday at the Bush family home in Kennebunkport, Maine.
George W. Bush, George H.W. Bush, and former First Ladies Barbara Bush and Laura Bush looked on as a jittery Jeffries proposed to Lilly.
She said, then kissed him – accidentally dropping the ring box in the process.
Jeffries, who lost both his legs in a blast in Afghanistan, had to be helped to his knees by friends. He was visiting the Bush family for an event honoring wounded warriors.
The elder Bush took to Twitter to share the happiness. "Congratulating Tyler Jeffries and Lauren Lilly on their engagement, and wishing them a lifetime of joy together," he wrote.

This joyous moment marks one of the first times George H.W. Bush has been seen in public since breaking a vertebra in his neck after falling in his home in July.
