George and Amal Clooney continue to enjoy the sweet life during their extended Lake Como holiday, their newlywed glow still evident as they left Harry's Bar in Cernobbio arm-in-arm Wednesday.
Life in their Italian paradise is clearly agreeing with the couple, as George, 54, can be seen sporting an impressive tan while Amal, 37, looks relaxed in polka-dot shorts and a black top, her dark hair cascading down in frizz-free waves per usual.
A friend of the couple recently told PEOPLE their affection for each other is not exaggerated in public. Kathy Lette, whose husband works with Amal, recently had the duo over for dinner and said witnessing their connection is like "watching a rom-com in front of you."
On July 14 – Bastille Day – the couple enjoyed a meal with George's parents, Amal's sister Tala Alamuddin, and friends (including Ellen Barkin) at Gatto Nero, making toasts and feasting on various sumptuous-sounding dishes.
"They were very happy and excited about seeing the impressive fireworks display, which is organized every year on the 14th of July to celebrate the Storming of the Bastille," restaurant owner Paolo Quarantotto told PEOPLE of the couple, who've been enjoying their summer getaway at their Lake Como estate.

The duo also celebrated the July 4 holiday in their favorite Italian enclave, welcoming guests like Robert De Niro for an Independence Day celebration.
Despite a couple of dinners out, a source told PEOPLE earlier in the month that the duo have been sticking close to their estate, seemingly continuing to bask in their newlywed glow.
George "seems to be slipping into his summer routine," says the source. "[He] has been spending most of his days with Amal enjoying the house."
