Giuliana Rancic: 'No Decisions Have Been Made' About Fashion Police's Next Host

"It's not about replacing Joan Rivers – no one can replace Joan Rivers. Ever," host Giuliana Rancic told PEOPLE. "It's more about the show just being a great show and a fun show."
Rancic, who brought husband Bill to The Grove in Los Angeles on Monday to promote Nestle Nescafe, fondly remembered her costar and dear friend, who died Sept. 4 at the age of 81.
In honor of the iconic comedian, E! aired a Fashion Police special featuring her daughter, Melissa.
Rancic, 40, said the program helped those who loved Rivers to heal.
"I think that the tribute show was very therapeutic for all of us, including the producers – even the viewers," she said. "Kelly [Osbourne], George [Kotsiopoulos], myself, we're all very close, we're always there for each other, and it's easier to not have to go through something like that alone, but we obviously think about and comfort Melissa the most because she lost her mom, her best friend."
"I adore Melissa," Rancic also said. "I've known her for 13 years, and she's such an amazing girl, so I always just think about her and have her in my heart, and obviously we love Joan very much."
As for who will join the cast when Fashion Police returns in January, Rancic said everything is still up in the air.
"I haven't even thought about it, and I know there are a lot of rumors going around, but they're really all rumors right now," she explained. "No decisions have been made, not to say they won't be made soon, but no decisions have been made right now. I don't know, I honestly don't. All I know is that whatever the executives decide, I'm sure it will be the best decision."
One decision the TV personality and husband Bill have made? The parents of 2-year-old Duke are ready to expand their family after their surrogate suffered a devastating miscarriage last spring.
"It's the greatest gift in the world," she said of being a mom. "When we first had him, I was like, 'Oh my God, this is such hard work. I don't know how people have multiple kids!' And now that he's 2 and he's communicating more and he's a little more independent, we're like, 'Oh, I can definitely see how people have more kids,' and it makes us want to have more kids!"
"Nothing yet," she added on the baby front. "But we're going to work on it!"
