A star-studded event it will be!

A whole slew of stars are turning out to host the 2015 Global Citizen Festival on Sept. 26, including Hugh Jackman, Kerry Washington, Stephen Colbert, Salma Hayek Pinault, Deborra-Lee Furness and Olivia Wilde, the organization announced Thursday.

Colbert said he is "honored and thrilled" to join Global Citizen on the Great Lawn at Central Park. He joked: "Finally, all that U.N. traffic will have a purpose!"

While the Global Citizen Festival allows fans to enjoy amazing performances from artists like Beyoncé, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran and Pearl Jam, the event is part of an effort to end global poverty by 2030 – a cause on which Wilde says the festival has had a "real and meaningful impact."

"I'm excited to join everyone again this year to show what we can achieve when our energy is focused in the right place," she continued.

Wilde is no newcomer to the festival, much like many other celebs that show up at the event year after year like Beyoncé, who is back for round two after a two-song performance with hubby Jay Z at last year's festival.

There are some fresh faces this year though, as Washington is hosting for the first time.

"I am very excited to be a part of the Global Citizen Festival and to join in this movement calling for an end to extreme poverty so that our future generations can live in a more just and equal world," the Scandal star said in a statement.

And how do you buy tickets for this star-studded, meaningful event? You can't! They're free – but you have to earn them.

Everyone is welcome to sign-up at globalcitizenfestival.com, as there are 48,000 tickets to earn by taking action and entering the prize draws on the site.

"We can't wait to stand with these awesome artists, co-hosts, and thousands of global citizens in Central Park this September as we call on our leaders to end the injustice that is extreme poverty," Furness and Jackman said.

They continue, "The Global Citizen movement is proof that when we come together and raise our voices, our leaders pay attention."
