Jimmy Roseman was diving at Florida's Bethel Shoal when he saw an all-too-iconic silhouette appear a disturbingly short distance away.
It was a 12-ft.-long great white shark, and at 90 feet deep with just a spear gun, Roseman was not in the ideal situation to enjoy its majesty.
This video achieves a near-perfect level of pacing: First you (Roseman) see the shark from a distance, then a convenient cloud of sand obscures the view, then it returns, closer each time, until jabs from Roseman's spear gun drive it away long enough for him to make an escape.
The fact that uploader Chris Saunders decided to soundtrack the footage with the theme from Jaws doesn't help.
It's almost beach season!
