Hank Baskett Gave Kendra Wilkinson 'Permission to Explore' Other Relationships After Sex Scandal

"I didn't know what I wanted. Hank gave me the freedom to explore it mentally – not physically, but mentally," Wilkinson says in a preview for Thursday's Steve Harvey.
She goes on to say that the experience taught her that she truly wanted her marriage to Wilkinson, which whom she shares two children, to work.
"He wanted me to really know this is what I want. And I ended up coming out of it knowing this is really, truly what I want," says Wilkinson.
Baskett, 33, says he made it clear that the permission to explore was not permission to get physical with other people.
"I put her through the worst moment of her life. I told her, 'Find out who you are.' I told her, 'don't go cross the line. Because if you cross the line, then I know what you want. It's not like you get the best of both worlds,' " says Baskett. "She was hanging out with people. People would text her. But I would rather that than her sneak around and hide things."
Wilkinson, 30, says "nothing ever happened physically," and recalls the period as one of "mental chaos." She adds in the clip that she and Baskett, who have been wed for nearly seven years, are better than ever.
"We're very open," she says. "We're through it now."
Steve Harvey airs weekdays (check local listings).
