Newlyweds Turn First Dance into an Impressive Hip-Hop Showdown

A wedding is a tradition jam-packed with even smaller, and often cheesier, traditions. The couple's first dance is one of those special moments you can find at almost every nuptials. The newlyweds come out to the dance floor, while Ingrid Michaelson (or Seal or Michael Bublé) plays, and rock back and forth, staring into each other's eyes.

Not the case for David and Hollie Smith.

The six-minute video of the couple's first dance starts with the pair in the classic ballroom stance, but this clip didn't get over 770,000 views for a simple waltz. Just six seconds in, the Justin Timberlake ballad stops and Jay Z begins. From there the Smiths work their way through more than 10 hip-hop hits, including "Uptown Funk," "Single Ladies" and "Baby Got Back."

By the time the pair finish their dance floor breakdown, the whole wedding party is involved and the rest of the guests are on their feet.

Sure beats listening to "Can't Help Falling in Love" for the 64th time. Sorry, Elvis.
