In a new trailer for the upcoming fourth season of Homeland, Showtime's Emmy-winning drama that returns in October, intelligence officer and new mom Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) tells her sister that she has to return to work because "I don't have a choice."
Somehow, we doubt that!
The action returns to the Middle East, where Carrie and colleague Peter Quinn (Rupert Friend) face new foes who really want to get on their case. Needless to say, Peter is not pleased.
"I just want out," he says to no one in particular. "I'm done."
Meanwhile, the terrific Corey Stoll – who can currently be seen chasing down a nasty villain in FX's The Strain – guest-stars in the new season as a station chief in Pakistan.
And what about the baby Carrie had with the late Brody (Damian Lewis)?
The infant makes an appearance in a bedside photo.
Hope you like your auntie, little one! You'll probably be spending a lot of time with her.

Homeland returns Oct. 5 at 9 p.m. ET on Showtime.
