Jon Cryer Compares Donald Trump to Charlie Sheen: He'll 'Say Whatever Foolishness Comes to the Top of His Head'

The 2016 presidential election is eerily familiar for Jon Cryer.

The former Two and a Half Men star, 50, says that watching Donald Trump's outspoken performance on the campaign trail reminds him of his former costar Charlie Sheen.

"There is an interesting overlap between Charlie and Donald Trump. People like that he's willing to say whatever foolishness comes to the top of his head," Cryer says in a preview for Tuesday's The Real.

Sheen was famously fired from Two and a Half Men in 2011 and went on a number of public rants against the CBS and the show's producers.

"It's fascinating to watch, because I don't want people to pick the president based on entertainment value," Cryer continued. "Because I saw someone spectacularly flame out and ruin everything that was good in their lives by doing that. I don't want somebody else to ruin everybody' else's lives by coming to power that way."

The Real airs weekdays (check local listings).
