Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux's dreamy tropical honeymoon turned into a dual celebration Monday as the couple rang in Theroux's 44th birthday with several close friends by their side.
On Monday afternoon, Theroux and a handful of male friends, including The Switch director Will Speck, were spotted on a boat ride. The group disembarked around 4:30 p.m. to prepare for dinner on the Tahitian island, a favored vacation spot for the newlyweds.
The previous day, a few members of the group enjoyed water sports soaking up the sun at the swanky Four Seasons Resort. That evening, Jason Bateman and Jimmy Kimmel and their families headed to dinner where a casually dressed Theroux was spotted leading the pack, looking relaxed and happy while chatting with pals.
The luxurious resort – villas can cost up to $12,000 a night – has become a beloved spot for the couple, who celebrated Theroux's birthday there last year. The couple even planned their friend-filled honeymoon before their actual nuptials last Wednesday.
A source told PEOPLE they invited friends along for the honeymoon because "they want the celebration to last as long as possible."
