Just one week after the passing of one of her dogs, Kaley Cuoco is saying goodbye to another beloved pup.

The Big Bang Theory star, 30, announced the death of her family dog Chester with two touching Instagram posts Friday night.

"It hasn't been a great week for dogs so with a heavy heart I must tell you, sweet Chester (aka Chedder cheese) has passed away," she captioned a photo of the small white puppy laying in the car.

The actress explained that when she adopts dogs, she isn't always aware of any health problems they may already have.

"We rescue these angels blindly and have no idea what problems they may have," she explained. "I'm still in shock but I just keep feeling blessed to have him in my life even for a small amount of time."

She continued: "He was such a joy – hilarious ears and followed me everywhere I went. He loved people so so much – loved being held and cuddled. Slept right on my pillow every night. I can sleep knowing that he felt extreme love towards the end of his life. Thank you @pawworks for blessing me with the big eared wonder."

She posted a second sweet photo of herself holding Chester, nuzzling her chin on his head.

"Love you forever Chester Chedder Cheese!" she wrote.
