In an interview with Fusion, Vicente Fox – who ran the country from 2000 to 2006 – made it clear that he is in definite opposition of Trump's promise to, not only build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico, but also send the expenses south of the border.
"I'm not going to pay for that f---ing wall. He should pay for it," Fox told the network on Thursday.
Aside from refusing to finance any of the billionaire businessman's plans, Fox also advised Mexican-Americans to be watchful of who they give their vote to. He added that electing the wrong person could send the U.S. into a downward spiral.

"Please, you Hispanics, Latinos in the U.S., open your eyes," he added. "It's not to defend our race. Not to defend our creed. It's to defend this very same nation that is hosting you. This nation is going to fail if it goes into the hands of a crazy guy."

Later on, Trump took to Twitter, airing his on thoughts about the interview and demanding an apology.
"FMR PRES of Mexico, Vicente Fox horribly used the F word when discussing the wall," the republican candidate tweeted. "He must apologize! If I did that there would be a uproar!"
After responding to Fox, the GOP frontrunner stepped in the ring with Mitt Romney after the former republican presidential candidate called Trump out for a "bombshell" in his tax returns.
The real-estate mogul responded in a series of tweets, in which he said, "Mitt Romney, who was one of the dumbest wand worst candidates in the history of Republican politics, is not pushing me on tax returns. Dope!"

Romney then shot back at Trump, demanding he release his back taxes for voters to see.
"We have good reason to believe that there's a bombshell in Donald Trump's taxes," he told FOX News. "Either he's not anywhere near as wealthy as he says he is, or he hasn't been paying taxes we would expect him to pay or perhaps he hasn't been giving money to vets or to the disabled like he's been telling us he's been doing."
Following more back and forth on Twitter, Trump told CNN that he would "make a determination over the next couple of months" about whether or not he is going to publicize his tax returns.

Despite his feuds in recent weeks – including spats with Pope Francis, Jermaine Jackson, and Ted Cruz – Trump is still powering forward in the race for the oval office, as he recently won the New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada caucuses.
