Kelly Osbourne has apologized after making a racist comment about the Latino community on The View on Tuesday, admitting she "whole-hearted[ly] f---ed up."

Osbourne, 30, who was a guest co-host on the show, was trying to make a point about presidential hopeful Donald Trump when she asked, "If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?"

Immediately after making the remark, the other co-hosts were taken aback and tried to stop Osbourne from speaking further, but she continued.

"In the sense that … you know what I mean? But I'm saying that in L.A., they always … " said Osbourne, before being interrupted by co-host Rosie Perez.

"Latinos are not the only people doing that," said Perez, who is of Puerto Rican descent.

"No, I didn't mean it like that, come on," said Osbourne. "I would never mean it like that! I'm not part of this argument."

Perez later Tweeted in Osbourne's defense, writing: "My apologies @Kelly Osbourne, I took your point wrong-#Trump #Latinos. My bad. You're heart is so pure & righteous. I adore you."

Sharon Osbourne also weighed in on her daughter's gaffe after the show, writing: "I want to thank the ladies @TheView for being so gracious to @KellyOsbourne today."

As for Osbourne herself, she took to social media to make her own personal apology for the remark.

"I want to start by saying I ALWAYS take responsibility for my actions. In this particular case I will take responsibility for my poor choice of words but I will not apologize for being a racist as I am NOT. I whole-hearted[ly] f--ed up today," she wrote in a Facebook post. "I don't want to bulls--- anyone with lame excuses. Although, I was stopped mid-sentence by Rosie and couldn't finish my point I will not let Rosie take responsibility for my words. I should have known better as I was on The View and it was live. I've learned a very valuable lesson. It is my hope that this situation will open up a conversation about immigration and the Latin community as a whole. By the way I clean my own f---ing toilets."

These remarks come nearly five months after Osbourne publicly chided her former Fashion Police co-host Giuliana Rancic in the midst of a controversy regarding Rancic's attempted joke, which was largely construed as racist, about singer-actress Zendaya wearing dreadlocks to the Oscars.

Before Osbourne left the E! show in February, she distanced herself from the situation, Tweeting emphatically, "I DO NOT CONDONE RACISM."
