Millions and millions of fans follow Kendall and Kylie Jenner's Instagram accounts to soak in tidbits from their glamorous lives. But even the famous sisters can admit that it's a made-up world.

While promoting their new fashion collaboration with Topshop, which hits stores Wednesday, the youngest members of the Kardashian clan spoke with the Sunday Times about how social media can be an overwhelming part of their daily lives.

"I think social media has taken over our generation," Kendall, 19, told the British newspaper. "It's a big part of our lives and it's kind of sad."

The model went on to say, "I hate it sometimes, like, I literally want to throw my phone so I can't look at it. It's all a made-up world if you think about it. Social media, everything, this interview, everything. It's not real. It's pretty crazy."

The Calvin Klein stunner remembered a car ride on her family trip to Thailand, during which she kept her phone tucked away for hours and was able to take in everything going on out the window. She noted that her younger sis didn't get to have the same experience.

Kendall said, "I looked over and Kylie was on her phone the whole time and didn't see one thing that I saw."

But 17-year-old Kylie isn't quite ready to grow up, she told the Times.

"I'm scared of the day I turn 19. I really don't want to grow past 18," Kylie said. "You see a picture and you've changed so much in a year. I've done so much, physically and whatever."
