WATCH: Kerry Washington Consoles The Muppets' Kermit the Frog After His 'Tough Breakup' from Miss Piggy

Is there anything that Kerry Washington can't fix?

In a new promo for The Muppets, the Scandal star gets together with her new network mates Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy to welcome them to ABC, and she finds out firsthand that there's still a lot of tension between the two in the wake of their recent split.

After Washington, 38, mentions to Piggy that she cut off her on her ex's line, the Muppets star retorts, "He stepped on my dreams!" before making a dramatic exit.

With four seasons of Fitz and Olivia's on-again/off-again relationship drama under her belt, Washington knows heartache when she sees it, so she gives the "It's Not Easy Bein' Green" singer the opportunity to tell her why he's blue.

"We just … kind of decided that we wanted different things in life," Kermit tells her sadly. Luckily, Washington knows just what he needs to hear – or at least what will keep things moving along.

"If you could just ... not look so sad," she asked, holding up her phone for a quick selfie with the most famous frog in show business.

After scoring her picture, Washington quickly scampered away, presumably to update her Instagram.
