Kim Kardashian and Kanye West celebrated their impending nuptials with a brunch at designer Valentino Garavani's Château de Wideville, a 17th-century residence outside Paris Friday.
Wearing a low-cut butterfly-print appliqué dress by the designer himself, the reality star, 33, and West, 36, left their apartment in Paris at 12:30 with baby North and approximately 50 guests in tow while a scrum of paparazzi, fans and well-wishers looked on. The group, including mom Kris Jenner and sisters Kendall and Khloé, headed outside of town to the eight-bedroom château for a pre-celebration hosted by Valentino and Vogue's Andre Leon Talley.
Meanwhile, preparations were fully under way at Florence's Forte di Belvedere, where the couple's wedding ceremony is expected to take place Saturday.
Two trucks bearing an assortment of white flowers, including roses and hortensias from Holland, were delivered to adorn the 16th-century fortress, while dozens of construction workers, security and party staff prepared the property for the wedding.
Disco lights were hung, metal detectors were installed and a portable toilet imported from France was set up on the grounds, while wooden flooring was laid over the fort's grassy outdoor area so that guests could dance without their heels sinking into the ground. Marble walls were set up and tents to protect the event from overhead photography were spotted down the road from the fortress, waiting to be delivered Friday morning.
And it looks like Kim will continue breaking her diet, at least this week – among the deliveries being made was a shipment of gourmet ice cream cones, also from France.
