Said cute bartender, chef Sharone Hakman, opened up to Cosmopolitan earlier this week about how he heard about the show's cancellation and what it was like working with Khloé Kardashian.
Hakman revealed that he had almost no idea the show would end after one season.
"I mean, there's rumors about this or that. I have my own opinions. But the reality is that I think we're all so surprised. It was rating well for the network, it was all positive," he said. "We're all trying to wrap our heads around how we can continue to grow this and make this interesting and fun. And then bam! It just sort of happened. Wow!"
He said he was "obviously bummed" to hear about the cancellation and that although Khloé didn't reach out to him after the news broke, he understands why.
"I'm sure she was upset internally as well," Hakman said. "No one wants to get a show canceled. It's a lot of people's jobs."
Instead, Hakman is focusing on the good times that were had on the show's single season.
"Honestly, it was some of the most fun that I've had. I'm going to miss the whole team. From hanging out with Khloé in our pre-show meeting and seeing everyone have a good time," he said. "And I'm going to miss the production team and my culinary team, who did an amazing job. That makes me sad, because the show had a lot of good people."
He added, "There's not one negative thing I can say about anybody, because everybody worked hard and everyone walked away having had a good time."
