When the Funny or Die comedian appeared on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live on Monday, the conversation quickly turned to Eichner's recent Twitter burn, courtesy of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Rinna.
WWHL host Andy Cohen recapped the situation: At first, Eichner was overjoyed to discover Rinna followed him on Twitter, but then he was crushed when she later unfollowed him, and he told the story recently on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien.
Cohen got Rinna on the phone to discuss the social media snub.
"I just got nominated for an Emmy for a video I did with Michelle Obama – I'm so glad to be talking to Lisa Rinna," quipped Eichner, in reference to the Emmy nod he received for an episode of his show Billy on the Street.
"You know, there's so many things I do that I don't understand myself," Rinna explained. "I think I followed him and then he was talking too much and I thought, 'I don't want to follow him anymore,' and I unfollowed him."

When asked why she later re-followed him, Rinna admitted it was because Eichner had called her out on Conan.
"Anybody with the balls to call me out, you know, I am all on their team, I am all for them," she said, adding, "I am so sorry if I ever hurt your feelings, Billy!"
"I do love Lisa Rinna, though, and I have a weird affection for Lisa Rinna," Eichner said. "So thank you for re-following me!"
