In a touching moment in front of friends and family on a Galveston, Texas, beach, Bill Klein of TLC's The Little Couple got emotional as he renewed his vows with his wife of five years, Dr. Jen Arnold.
"I was afraid I would lose you," Klein says in an exclusive sneak peek of Tuesday's season finale (9 p.m. ET). "You defeated cancer. We're here to celebrate you for being you every day for a long time to come."
This season's show chronicled the couple's intense year of joys and sorrow – from Arnold's diagnosis of a rare cancer to her intensive chemotherapy treatment and journey to remission, as well as the adoption of daughter Zoey, 2 from India, who joined their family with their son Will, 4, who was adopted from China.
"From the first email that I wrote to you to our first kiss," Arnold says in the clip, "you never quit astounding me with your love. When I met you for the first time, I knew I was going to marry you."
Klein surprised his wife with a proposal, a ceremony and a reception that was attended by 50 family and friends.
"We've shared tears and we've shared laughter," Arnold says to Klein in the episode. "And now we get to share our lives with two beautiful children."
