Some of the biggest news out of Comic-Con right now is the release of the Mad Max: Fury Road
trailer, starring Tom Hardy
and Charlize Theron
, so we'll just get that out of the way first, shall we?
Cool, right? Director George Miller called the film "basically a Western on wheels" during a press conference, EW reports
. And the film's got an increasingly rare level of reality to it: "We decided to literally do every car that’s smashed is smashed, every stunt is a real human being, even the actors do a lot of their own stunts, and so on," Miller said.
Fandango was on hand to survey 1,000 fans at Comic-Con in San Diego, and discovered that the most hotly anticipated film is the still-just-over-a-year-away Avengers: Age of Ultron
. After that, fans were salivating for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice
, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies
, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For
, and then Mad Max
Does the trailer do anything to increase your anticipation for Max
and the gang? If not, which upcoming film are you most excited for?
