Last week, Assen, Netherlands, had its TT Speed Week, a weeklong motorcycle festival that includes racing, music and demonstrations.
Raymond Schnieders and his girlfriend, Dimphy Blauwheuvel, were about to take off for Speed Week's Night Ride through Assen on June 27, for which they'd dressed as Cookie Monster
, when Schnieders noticed a wheelchair-bound boy and his father watching the riders assemble behind the barricade.
So he did what any self-respecting Cookie Monster would do: He hopped off his bike, wandered over and gave the kid a high-five and a firm handshake.
Judging by the smile on the kid's face, it was pretty special for both of them.
