Noah Galloway threw out the first pitch at Tuesday's New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox game.
The veteran, who lost a part of his arm and leg while serving in Iraq, successfully threw the first ball of the night over the diamond – and surprisingly enough, he didn't practice!
Galloway, 33, Tweeted, "no practice," when one of his followers asked if he managed to toss some balls prior to the game. Overall, the night was "incredible," he wrote on Instagram.
Such an incredible night. Yankees/Red Sox game. Met amazing people. Saw old friends. And all thanks to @armitronwatches who also donated 10k to the No Excuses Charitable Fund. Looks like the former Dancing with the Stars contestant has moves on both the dance floor and the infield.
Earlier this year, Galloway proposed to Jamie Boyd, now his fiancée, live on the ABC's dancing competition.
"We're shooting for next fall," Galloway previously told PEOPLE of setting a wedding date.
Still, the couple already has a venue for the special day picked out.
"The only thing we've really narrowed it down to, is we know we want to do it on a farm," he said.
And as for the groom's attire? "I'm gonna be in a kilt," he said.
