His term may be coming to an end, but President Obama and the rest of the first family won't be leaving Washington D.C. just yet.

On Thursday, the Commander in Chief visited with Milwaukee voters at a local restaurant and revealed that he and first lady Michelle Obama will likely stay put until youngest daughter Sasha is done with high school.

"We haven't figured that out yet," the president, said when one of the lunch attendees asked where the family would move at the end of his term. "We're going to have to stay a couple of years so Sasha can finish school. Transferring someone in the middle of high school – tough."

While the president and first lady will hand around D.C until Sasha graduates, they won't have to worry too much about oldest daughter Malia, who will be heading off to college soon after her father leaves office.

Despite Obama admitting that he's been emotional about his daughter leaving the nest, Michelle has openly discussed what an exciting time it is for her girls, adding that, like most parents, she even "take[s] great joy" in embarrassing them from time to time.

"I threaten them that I'm going to buy an apartment near their campus and visit and sit in their classes, but that's an idle threat," she joked with Entertainment Tonight last May. "I'm going to be happy to see them thriving on campus, work study jobs, traveling and having all these wonderful independent experiences that are going to make them phenomenal people."

Sasha, who's a sophomore in high school, still has some time before deciding on a college to attend. However, Malia, who has not revealed her university of choice, will be a senior in the fall and has toured Ivy League campuses over the past year.
