The Real Housewives of New York City held an intervention Tuesday for Ramona Singer, who bolted the Berkshires in a private plane after tossing a wine glass at Kristen Taekman.

And shock of shocks: The intervention worked. Well, sort of.

"Call it an intervention, call it a confrontation," said Heather Thomson, whose home Singer fled, lying to the ladies and heading to the Hamptons.

"How was the party?" LuAnn de Lesseps asked, referencing the Twitter photo she received showing Singer at a Hamptons party. "You blew us off, and you lied about it."

"I had a panic attack in the woods! Screw you all for not getting it," said a wide-eyed Singer. "I'm leaving … You're attacking me."

"You can't do this to people," continued the Countess. "Just because you were abused, it doesn't give you the right to throw a glass at somebody."

"I feel terribly about it," said Singer, who later admitted the women were right. "You made a valid point … I was embarrassed by my behavior, and I just wanted to get out of there … Who's going to be my therapist?"

"You need a Swiss team of doctors," joked Carole Radziwill.

"That was a very big moment," said de Lesseps. "Whether she does it or not, we'll see."

"Do I think I need therapy?" Singer asked when all was said and done. "Not really. But anything to get them to shut up and off my back."

Singer did, however, reach out and invite Taekman for tea after the intervention.

"I'm a little nervous because tea is hot, and tea burns," said Taekman, referencing her previous run-ins with Singer.

"It was the wrong thing to do. I'm totally embarrassed. I'm really sorry," said Singer, handing her a bouquet of yellow roses. "I hope you can forgive me."

"I'm in total shock," said Taekman. "I was waiting for her to throw them at me."

Continued Taekman: "I've never one time had someone throw something at me … Ramona, I bled."

When Singer started to laugh, Taekman said, "There's nothing funny about anything that happened. There's clearly some underlying issues at work: Are you drinking too much? What about this whole anger management situation? Do you do this to other people?"

"I don't have any issues," said Singer. "Maybe you have issues with my issues."

"When you physically harm me they are my issues," said Taekman. "I've never felt comfortable in your presence … I'm happy to hear you're remorseful, because otherwise it would make you a monster."

"I've been called a lot of things, but monster isn't one of them," said Singer.

"There's a first time for everything," said Taekman, before walking out on her.
